Title: Near-Field Mixing of Dense Effluents in Coastal Environments: Eco-Hydraulic Considerations

Introduction: Professor Adrian Law is a Full Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He is also the Executive Director of the Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute (CFI) Singapore. He obtained his PhD degree from the University of California at Berkeley with specialisations in coastal and hydraulic engineering. He received the Karl Emil Hilgard Hydraulic Prize and Wesley Horner Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers. He also chaired the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Hydroinformatics Data Centre as Singapore’s representative (2022-2023). He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hydro-Environment Research as well as Editorial Board members in related technical journals.
