The IAHR-APD Congress is an influential academic exchange platform for water science and technology in the Asia-Pacific region. It is held every two years and has been successfully held for 23 times since first held in 1978. The objective of the 24th IAHR-APD Congress is to provide a meeting place to share experiences, promote discussion, and to present new knowledge, research results and new developments in the field of water sciences in the Asia Pacific region.
With the theme of Water for a Changing Future, the 24th IAHR-APD Congress will serve as a platform to bring together cross-section stakeholders in the field of water, like government officials, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and economists to share their knowledge, experience and practice regarding the water challenges when facing a changing future.
The 24th IAHR-APD Congress will be held in Wuhan, China from 14 to 17 October 2024.
The 24th IAHR-APD Congress will be co-organized by Changjiang River Scientific Research Institute of Changjiang Water Resources Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources of China (CRSRI) and Sichuan University (SCU).
